When the second ‘Mr Clarke’ (Paul) asked his eight year old son what he wanted to be when he grew up the answer was ‘the boss of Clarkeprint’. Fulfilling that dream, alongside Carol and Gary, and becoming the third generation of ‘Mr Clarke’ was a hugely proud moment for Nigel in 2016, after 14 years in the business. Nigel’s core responsibility is taking care of strategy, sales and marketing across the group.

Outside of work Nigel enjoys quality family time with his wife and three children and, when time allows, the occasional trackday.

After joining the business as Company Accountant in 1999, Carol quickly became an integral part of the leadership team. Her business philosophy centres around stable and sustainable growth, and is one that has served the company well, managing the finances through economic highs and lows of the past 20 years. The group’s strong financial footing is testament to Carol’s diligent financial management, and a look that ensures Gary and Nigel understand when ‘no’ means ‘NO’.

Carol has two grown up children, and loves holidaying in the UK and Europe with family and friends.

Since entering the industry as an apprentice at 16 and later qualifying as a Master Printer, Gary’s enthusiasm for the trade has never waned. Joining the business in 2005 as works manager, his no-nonsense approach quickly earnt the respect of the shop floor. Over the years Gary has applied the same tactics to ensuring all business operations all run equally smoothly.

When not out cycling the roads and trails of the Black Country, Gary loves nothing more than relaxing in his pub shed with his wife, family and friends.
